１３世紀～１８世紀頃、タイ北部には、ラオス、ミャンマーにまたがった領土を持つランナー王朝が存在していましたが、そのランナーとは百万の田を意味であり、その名のとおり昔からこの地には田園が広がっておりました。私どもではここチェンライの気候風⼟にも合うように選定され、そして栽培された日本米「ランナノヒカリ」を２００９年より販売しております。
From approximately the 13th to the 18th century, the Lanna Kingdom—a realm spanning territories across present-day Laos and Myanmar—flourished in Northern Thailand. The name "Lanna" itself signifies "a million rice fields," and true to its name, this region has historically been characterized by vast, sprawling rice paddies. Since 2009, we have been selling "Lanna no Hikari"—a variety of Japanese rice that was carefully selected and cultivated specifically to thrive within the unique climate and soil conditions of this very region, Chiang Rai.

This area is encircled by mountains reaching heights of 1,500 meters, from which flow pristine waters. Blessed by the radiant sunshine, this land yields a truly delicious—and glistening—Japanese rice.

Our Japanese rice is characterized by a clean texture and a pleasant, moderate chewiness; it boasts excellent flavor and aroma, making for a truly refreshing rice experience. We are dedicated to cultivating delicious rice while minimizing the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers as much as possible.
